    So, to detach is: “…to rid of old memories, habits, and other past traditions; only freed of past burdens can we take advantage of the present…” (from somewhere I couldn’t re-locate); much like the rebirth of a Eagle who must pluck out its beak, its talons and old-aged feathers so they may grow back to give him his second-half of his long life (I remember around 70 years).

    Well, thats change to survive. For humans, change is to overcome fear, to be happy to grow, and to detach. Hummmmmmmm.

    deconditionning and deculturing is not very obvious…when we try hard…it starts to work..

      I agree. But taking the first step into the process is hard.
      As are the second and third actually, because Culture is the Cauldron we live our highly conditioned lives in.
