Through a lens…darkly…

February 21, 2011

Greetings,

Silver is on a tear due to some rift in the program. For such six sigma (nine sigma???) times, the clubbers in rome had diversionary tactics. In the old days, a high-jacking would do the trick.

Delta Force and Mogadishu had cemented that. If a distraction on a global scale was needed, a good old-fashioned high-jacking would do the trick.

Not anymore. Too inured to real violence, Ultimate Fighting on the Streets… the force of dis-traction has to display strongly…

Now, we are looking at a geo-political/financial/societal quagmire/tinderbox like never before.

And all connected.

The network effect takes “effect” in a binary moment after much sub-surface build-up. If you are sufficiently tuned, you can look at a standing wave and understand it’s full, energetic potential. Like a bow-string. Shooting a Silver Arrow.

Next step, civil-war. Notice the regional flash-points are all nerve centers. Wisconsin literally and figuratively. The extremes of right and left co-existed here in relative peace for quite some time. Now they’ve been brough to a sudden head-lock. pitted. divided. probably conquered.

Tunisia was considered the progressive flash-point for North Africa, Islamic banking (such a threat to Central banking/Fractional reserve banking/Predatory usury Banking). Now morocco, the leap-off point into Spain and then France and Europe in general. The parisian riots come to mind.

Egypt…martial law….no return to demoncracy, rest assured. Egypt was twittered and facebooked and googled and al-jazeera-ed into martial law.

The US is generally ripe to fall. Madison the flash-point.

So is Europe at it’s rim and spiralling inwards everyday. Literally, draw a line from Iceland to ireland to portugal to spain….spiralling inward, like clock-work, literally and figuratively. Something to note about the Eu and the Euro. Due to the Mark to Market of bullion reserves, the EU will survive in  the near term, but not europeans. The ECB will thrive, but expect no trickle-downs. Austerity is baked into this pie. The only real choice is to leave the table and forge/for-age your own.

The ME needs no telling of at this time. Iran and pakistan…. again, well known. Afghanistan…tragedy continues to unfold.

China getting a little sweet Jasmine love. And all the residual whipped-into-growth bubbles bursting problems. Un-employment, under-payment, corruption, deep, embedded corruption, communism giving way to anarcho-capitalism, inflation…basket case. Three gorges in trouble. Always saw that as a canary in China’s coal-mine. It’s moment of supreme over-reach.

Russia looking goodish (surprise). But again hammered by fires and weird weather.

The golden triangle remains it’s usual poor self, easy to tip into chaos at any time (burma and Thailand have been fighting lately, border skirmishes).

India….tinder box. And now cricket fever next 3 months out…enflamed passions all around, huge number of multi-ten-thousand spectator matches, some, like India/Pakistan always edgy. Plus terrorist bogeyman hangs heavy. Here, I can say,  tempers are shorter than ever before. Road rage is all the rage. At least three separatist movements in full swing. The balkanization of India, literally and fabric-ally, continue apace.

Japan….long time on life-support but military starting to rumble… The queen’s enforcer in the Pacific is brandishing some muscle.

Oz- weather hammered, caught inward.. and Sino-Japano-UK playground anyways.

South america….long time tinderbox. Mexico going nuts….Venezuela in turm-oil. notice that? Turm-oil. Turmoil is 40%  or more about oil.

Such a momentously charged time.

Beauty is that it can be taken either way, and yet will go towars the predictable, cycle driven, violent, destructive one.

Silver is the best near term real-life balm.

I missed counting Indonesia/Malaysia, again with deep issues of their own and Indonesian muslim’s showing tremendous solidarity with their bretheren world-wide in times of impending or real crisis.

Africa…gone….deeper into the hands of Euro-centered control and a huge Chinese push (financial colonialization with some 21st century veneer)…..AFRICOM??? How timely.

And what is with those magical Somali super-pirates? Fishy….

Food…rising rising.

Weather nuts.

Seismology...trembling earth.

Meanwhile, mass animal die-offs continue unabated. Around the world. Multiple species of fish and birds. Whales to swallows and many in-between.

I can go on.

Upside? I only see it in certain individuals. In the collective, all i see is a media-cataract and comfortable numbness.

And so the distributed civil-unrest will magically be twittered into a full fledged global conflag.

And the “Leaders” will wring their hands and say they had to.

Through a lens…darkly…

It speaks to the lack of cooperation and understanding between people. Whatever happened to the value of live simply, so that others may simply live? The horrible truth of human greed and selfishness, the capacity to destroy your neighbor for your benefit, is reflected in the Wisconsin Teachers refusal to act sensibly in these times. Civil WarII is coming, to America. We have the most, consume the most, and are the most unhappy people on the Planet. Austerity would actually bring happiness.

Locally – a whole subdivision under Foreclosure – $32,000,000 (property taxes in Wisconsin tax hell pay for Schools and Teachers)

When you are homeless and financially ruined, those fat Teachers look mighty tasty.

    Through a lens… “brightly…”

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it–always.”

    M. Ghandhi

“In the souls of the people, the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage.”

    J. Steinbeck

ORI, I see things improving, being cleansed for the future as old governments fail, rulers are purged, new thinkers arrive to solve real problems. You are here to bring it about.

Lionhead, thanks for the comment. Could not agree more. Just felt called to point out a 3D reality that needs to be taken into account as we sow the seeds of the re-evolution.
Also, I think the blast from the sun will help us along.
Not despairing here at all. Just calling it, darkly! 🙂

anadianant, thanks back. I was just reading this from the FT re the solar disturbances that are heading towards earth.

Could it be that the “perfect storm” of events is conspiring against the current regimes & powers as they desperately try to hang on to power? The more they cling to it, the more they will fail. Their violence is their failure; they have sown the seeds of their own defeat.

“Victory attained by violence is tantamount to a defeat, for it is momentary.”

        M. Gandhi

        • February 21, 2011 5:23 pm

yes Lionhead, very much a when and not if event.
And the perfect storm indeed. Our collective unconsciousness, programmed in this cycle to choose destructive tendencies for some reason or the other, but such is how it is. Great change coming, needed, so all god, eh?
Even the violence is baked in. We are very much in a place of in-dependence and local inter-dependence once again.
          community, tribe and the like.

Yup Green Leader. Round and round, faster and faster.
I read somewhere, very convincingly written, that the 24 hour day may no longer be 24 hours as we have known it in history. Faster now.
I also read that the Federal reserve is domiciled in Puerto Rico? Whut?

      • February 21, 2011 8:18 pm

Yep, I have noticed, especially over the last couple of years(which now no longer seem like “years”), that time is quite literally moving faster than before.

Illinois and Wisconsin are in a race to the bottom. Illinois has chosen not to pay it’s vendors, driving some private sector businesses into bankruptcy and forcing others not to do business with the State. If their bond auction fails, watch private business get decimated.

As these times move, well, you really can’t make it up anymore. Is there any distinction between Public and Private anymore? Whatever happened to Bake Sales? What if they say “NO”?

we live in interesting times. Ugh. In China, everyday there is a literal fog, so much pollution it hits you in the face. Everyone plays to the big boys wishes over here, and what do they get? undrinkable water, unhealthy air, no life outside of work and rising costs choking off everyones savings. it sucks to be Chinese, but it appears to be that way all across the globe. time to hit the reset button. time to become ungovernable I suppose. The new dark ages approach and I believe many will come to believe in God again and lose much of their faith they had in their supposed human superiors. God is not dead, never was, but now we get a close look at the real poverty in the current human spirit. Time to lose faith in our supposed human leaders and put it back with God. For a growing majority, they will lose most of everything in a material sense, what is left? But faith, hope….and a rejection of evil and hate, luxuries of the fat and lazy I guess.

    • February 22, 2011 11:44 am

Michael, they will also be left with them “selves”. Their-self. In which self lies all. Everything. WE are God, embodied. Fractally.
That is the major lesson for this time. And the signals are flying fast and furious to go in, go in… out is a rout.

yes that is my most reliable guess, we are god… you especially, you look the part. i am so disillusioned with mankind so far, i just can only turn to myself to try and get grounded in my faith of mother.

God is a fraud. Also the belief that human are a superior race or that many among us are supermen…. Getting out of this mess will not be easy and no god can help, ever, because they don’t exist,
Ask not what your fellow human can do for you but what you can do for your fellow human, for a change.

From Racine, WI. “This is the fight of our Generation” ; “The Teachers say if they’re not getting paid well, things will get worse” ; (Democrats) “who have on behalf of all of us taken the abuse of leaving the state of Wisconsin and standing up for the rights of the people.”
http://www.journaltimes.com/news/local/govt-and-politics/article_7d1fc15c-3e7a-11e0-b215-001cc4c03286.html This is from USA Teachers who receive salaries sufficently large that they can purchase: House (USA style), Car (often 2), Electronics, Abundant Food, Abundant Energy, Municipal Water, Municipal Sewer, Paved Roads, World Vacations, Higher Education, Vices of their Choice. They drive their car to a Schoolhouse that has a large parking lot and is heated, lighted, well maintained, and stocked with books and supplies. They receive Medical and Dental benefits at no cost to them, they enjoy expensive and costly medical treatments; they can retire, with a full pension, at 55, sometimes earlier. But “This is the Fight of Their Generation”; How sad.

I can only think that they are being kept in the dark for a reason. The Boomers and their attitudes won’t fit into the paradigm shift when the 4th. turning is complete. Let them stand as a warning to all, excess consumption and excess material goods becomes destructive to the soul, and kills one spiritually. The West is empty. Easter Island might give us a glimpse into the future, the price of competition over cooperation. http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/24/042.html

Here is the voice of a Gen X’er who is aware of the disaster the Boomers have caused. The next generation might offer them “the fight for their lives”. http://voxday.blogspot.com/2011/02/such-surprise.html

What is this now, a fight between generations ??? That’s all we need, the youth turning against the old, boy o boy, what a strategy ?

Can’t you understand that what is happening today started with the birth of mankind ? It’s a simple progression, easy to figure out if you put yourself into it !

We live, we pollute, we kill, we occupy most of the space and then we die when were all used up and have used up everything there is to use for us to live on. Try to change that if you can and please, stop blaming it on me or my generation, it’s so … not that !
