More @ OWS

October 18, 2011

Greetings,

Perhaps the Occupiers of Wall Street should give themselves a fast and good education with the following two pieces of work.

Know your opponent. Think about that for a second. How many actually understand what/who they are up against? Very few. Barring regurgitated platitudes of 99% Vs. 1%, hardly anyone knows, or seems to understand what they are really up against.  Perhaps this will never be heard by OWS at large. Be that as it may.

How can you fight a battle without knowing your opponent? What weapons can you bring out against a chimera? What are your chants stabbing at? All you can see is their foot soldiers, chillingly dressed in near identical SWAT uniforms, unhesitatingly following brutish orders from some unseen hand.

What/who are you fighting? Bankers? Politicians? Sold out cops? Centuries of sleight of hand? Centuries of social engineering?

“They” love opposition. Their power works well against opposition. “Against” produces the necessary force they need. Your chanted angst is fuel for their oppression. It’s been that way forever. French Revolution, American Revolution, Bolshevik Revolution. All these revolutions and “They” prospered while “Us” sank deeper into the mire. “We” lost all except mirages of “good” things, a long time ago.

Know your opponent.

I’d like to suggest two excellent places to start. Please, educate yourself.

First off, moving pictures…

In classical, Generation XYZ fashion, via animation:

The Collapse of the American Dream

In this fractal world, it represents the collapse of the global dream, the collapse of fairness, human-ness (whatever that means). Watch it, spread the word.

And then, please read this. Read it out publicly. Name the names. It behooves all of us, individually to know what we are fighting for and what we are fighting against. I know the truth of what is written here in my bones. I can see it alive and well all around me in India. British Crown Agents, Opium Producers and Smuggling families and their descendants are the cream of Indian high society. All the big business, through regulatory capture are owned by the very people who sold their “nation” out in  the first place. Chillingly, their representatives sit at the very top of our nation in every field today.

Hidden in plain sight. Know your opponent. Please read, carefully. And then act:

A little excerpt from the Introduction, to whet your appetite:

PART I

History of Britain’s First Opium Wars

Introduction

This is the setting for what follows below: narcotics are pouring in from abroad through a well-organized, efficient group of smugglers.

One-fifth of the population abuses drugs, an epidemic surpassing any known since the Great Plagues. Not only the poor, but the wealthy and the children of the wealthy have succumbed. Within the nation, organized crime displays its drug profits without shame, ruling local governments, and threatening the integrity even of national government. None of their opponents is safe from assassins, not even the chief of state. Law enforcement is in shambles. The moral fiber of the nation has deteriorated past the danger point.
And one of the leading dope-traffickers writes to his superiors abroad, “As long as this country maintains its drug traffic, there is not the slightest possibility that it will ever become a military threat, since the habit saps the vitality of the nation.” (1)
The description is familiar, but we are not writing of America in 1978, but China in 1838, on the eve of the first Opium War, when Great Britain landed troops to compel China to ingest the poison distributed by British merchants.
An American President lies dead of an assassin’s bullet.
Corrupt members of the Cabinet cover the tracks leading to a conspiracy, including the leading narcotics mobs, ethnic-based secret societies, and a foreign government. The public does not believe that the assassin acted alone, but the weight of the cover-up, the silence of the leading press, and the deaths of witnesses blur the trail from the public’s view.

Was that the death of John F. Kennedy? It was also the death of Abraham Lincoln.

During the last century, British finance protected by British guns controlled the world narcotics traffic. The names of the families and institutions are known to the history student: Matheson, Keswick, Swire, Dent, Baring, and Rothschild; Jardine Matheson, the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank, the Chartered Bank, the Peninsular and Orient Steam Navigation Company. Britain’s array of intelligence fronts ran a worldwide assassination bureau, operating through occult secret societies: the Order of Zion, Mazzini’s Mafia, the “Triads” or Societies of Heaven in China.

Paging back over the records of the narcotics traffic and its wake of corruption and murder, the most uncanny feature of the opium-based Pax Britannica is how shamelessly, how publicly the dope-runners operated.

Opium trading, for the British, was not a sordid backstreet business, but an honored instrument of state policy, the mainstay of the Exchequer, the subject of encomia from Britain’s leading apostles of “Free Trade” – Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Thomas Malthus, James Mill, and John Stuart Mill. The poisoning of China, and later the post-Civil War United States, did not lead to prison but to peerages.

Great sectors of the Far East became devoted to the growing of the opium poppy, to the exclusion of food crops, to the extent that scores of millions of people depended utterly on the growing, distribution and consumption of drugs.

The Keswicks, Dents, Swires and Barings still control the world flow of opiates from their stronghold in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. Jardine Matheson, the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, and the Peninsular and Orient Steam Navigation Company still control the channels of production and distribution of the drugs from the Far East, through the British dominion of Canada, into the United States.

By an uninterrupted chain of succession, the descendants of the Triads, the Mafia, and the Order of Zion still promote drug traffic, dirty money transfers, political corruption, and an Assassination Bureau even more awesome than the conspiracy that claimed Abraham Lincoln’s life. Of course, the drug revenues of this machine are no longer tallied in the published accounts of the British Exchequer.

Dope Inc. Britain’s Opium Wars Against America (And the World).

Sadly, most will be too intellectually lazy to really dive and see the implications. Or will they?

You owe it to yourselves. Stop giving the beast power through protest, allowing then to humiliate you, bludgeon you, chain you, im-prison you. Every hero they made for us this last century, Gandhi, MLK, Mandela, whose Jail times made them somehow revered, were false gods. Deeply compromised individuals of weak moral character, beholden to the same power. If you feel angry reading the above, it only shows that you have bought the legend of these Clay Footed messiah’s, to our own great, collective detriment. You need no messiahs. None. Zero.

Step back, ponder what it is you are giving your energy to. Go home and use it to make change happen. Buy nothing with a label. Burn and rip the tie and suits. Throw away the lipstick. Reject anyone in a tie or lipstick. Reject the false news (always delivered in a suit and or with lipstick). Reject the local banker who wears a tie and suit, he too is ruled. Reject the symbol, I can assure you, the cruel system WILL CRUMBLE. Just like that. Can you picture an open collared Senate Committee? Hah! See?

Remember, symbols rule us, but lose their power once their symbolism is understood.

Imagine, it really can be that simple. No broken heads, no pig’s truncheon in your back, no abuse.

Just sit back and laugh as the machine crumbles with the lack of opposition. It will cannibalize itself. It is in-sentient, merely intelligent and that too in a devious way. I’m speaking from direct experience.

Melt away. There is no gain from opposition, only loss.

Good luck and a big hug all around,

Stay safe, stay sensible….

Vivek

Vivek! Thanks again for the insight and inspiration. With two young children and a small business to run as my current means of providing, i find it quite difficult to starve the beast, but i am slowly working at doing with less. Regards, Michael

Michael, you are welcome and of course, we each do the best we can, yes? Also very important to understand what compromises cost us, ne? 🙂

      Peace!

Thanks, sorry for the intrusion, but I wanted to share this with you. I understand if you moderate and delete but i would appreciate a look anyhow. This is the beginning. http://wp.me/p1VSjV-3 The last phrase seems to resonate with your message. Thanks again, Michael

I went down and spent the night at the occupy London tent city over the weekend. Most of the people down there seem destined to be useful idiots to get Labour back in power, If the ones at OWS are the same then I don’t hold much hope that this is the movement we have been waiting for. I tried to raise some of these issues but most don’t seem ready for the truth. I think the only thing that will wake people up is the collapse followed by war. Hopefully it won’t be too late.

btw I can’t say I agree with your views on MLK, so what if he had affairs? No one is perfect! His words even today are so full of truth and that’s coming from a British white guy who doesn’t really consider himself particularly “progressive” or “liberal” Add to that the fact he was killed by the US government and I think you’re a bit off track on that one.

      • December 4, 2011 1:28 pm

Leo, it was never about MLK’s affairs.

Gandhi, MLK, Mandela, the emasculators of the global masculine through the ridiculous doctrine of non-violence.

Ponder that for a bit. What do you think?

        Thanks for sharing.

When you read these grand conspiracy stories, do you just blindly believe what is written as fact?

That is what I would call intellectually lazy.

Some read the bible, and believe that Adam and Eve were created by God, same problem, intellectually lazy.

I think you are better when you form your own views and post them here, rather than linking to wild conspiracy nonsense.

Gary: Are you insinuating that intelligent people who read “grand conspiracy stories” take them at face value? … don’t analyse them against “other [contradictory] grand conspiracy stories”? … then throw out any conclusions drawn and revert to “blindly believe what is written as fact”?

It strikes me that you are not only “intellectually lazy”, but also irrational and, dare I say it, offensive to Vivek!

Education is not what the Adam Smith crowd will invest in…..CUI BONO? I f we remain unread, unwashed and ignorant they play the same hand over and over again. It’s always new to the uneducated. The need to keep a population uneducated serves them with a pick of loyal toadies. These elites lack creativity, they are the parasites who copy, steal or loot the many who create. They attempt to squash those they cannot control through fear. Fear of humiliation, social ostracism, terror , threats of terror or just economic deprivation.(Sigh) Same game…..

      Unread, unwashed, ignorant.
I say it allows us to be simple again, easier, perhaps that is the upside?
And truly, from what I’ve learnt lately, the actual PTB loathe genuine innovation. Same saem in all spheres keeps their power same same too.

But I sense the rules are about to change…soon.

Vivek–terrific post, which I missed at the time it came out. But I followed the link you provided in your Daily Bell post of Feb 4, 2012. I have ordered some research works to better inform myself on these matters.

DB seems largely Jewish, and remains too coy (or conflicted?) by half on that angle of scrutiny. They deliberately obfuscate and mystify when the “Jewish question” begins to come into focus. But overall they have contributed much to the overall discussion of the shape of our current power/finance system.

For the “Jewish” dimensions of the situation, one must look elsewhere. Much more honest and valuable contributions on this subject are available from honest Jews like Israel Shahak, Israel Shamir, and Gilad Atzmon.

The Daily Bell’s notion of the internet as an epoch-making communication technology (whose ultimate impact they compare with the Gutenberg revolution of the fifteenth century) is probably spot on, and this will remain to their credit.

🙂 Thanks Spectator, it was a real “Whoa” moment for me.
As for DB, regard-less of their larger or deeper inclinations, I like their style, of writing, of interacting with commentators, the breadth of their articles.

In fact I wrote them to ask if they’d like to participate in my own, most decidedly Austrian experiment with launching something, which you might have seen in the watershed day post.

      Thanks for sharing.

Is interesting but it seems to me the people who show up in places wearing the V masks are probably having the most effect. They don’t do anything or confront anyone they just remind them that things are not right. It seems to me to be a display which categorically suggests we do not accept the illusion, how about you?
