A little Audio Visual Journey…Diwali, Social Engineering et. al.

October 26, 2011

Did a little audio recording on my phone, the sounds of Diwali, the famous festival of lights(now bombs and rockets), known as voice-007. Please be patient with the few odd parts, in my mind, it always comes together. Drumming too. And adjust the volume etc. You get my drift. It’s just me and my mobile phone after all. It’s the little anthem that’s been plaing in my head these past few weeks that I want people to hear.

If you’re feeling curious:

Also, some pictures.

In no particular order, social engineering, gender bending, mallaseum, Diwali, Diya (Lamp, I am lucky to have a Shiva-Shakti configuration), Book, Flower, Statuettes, Laxmi, Vishnu, Anant Naag,  Shiva’s mat…… You’ll see.

There you have them. Very apropos and thus sans comment.

May peace be upon us all…

Listening to your various recordings (this one as well as the many on youtube) is hypnotizing and very pleasant. This apparent structured chaos (not chaotic, therefore) has something that reaches profoundly, though I don’t know what. How is the “Where do we fit?” going? Maybe it has been commented here, but since I mostly read your posts by email, I miss almost all comments.
I celebrate you go on with your musical-sound-rhythm-vibrational explorations, and that you offer us your fruits out of that 🙂

Hey Nestor, glad my “media” makes you feel that way. If I have an intention when I play, your state has probably captured it.
      Curiouser and curiouser. 🙂

And thanks for asking, the CD is out next week. Then the book then the DVD.
But CD next week, very interesting time.

      And you are welcome…

The Audio sounds fine V !
    BUT……content = Horrible.
    …..Sadly Yes……….It sounds like a War Zone.
    Bangalore…..famous for “Bangalore Torpedos” !
    Being a combat vet….you…..KNOW……I shrink.
    …….Seriously !
    Get out of town man
    ……….crawl through this Wire here,
I always wanted to spend a “spell” in Kerala…..
Thought that I might like it there………for a bit.
    Pretty close to you actually…..hmmm
Very cool Ayurvedic practitioners there it seems.
    Methinks a good place to go…..for a spell !
Also, I’m not familiar with all of those photos in the post
…..but some of it looks pretty good to me
……….those down toward the bottom anyway…….
Maybe I should crawl through the wire to “there”…..for awhile:)
It is a Very Weird Weird World Amigos e Amigas !

Indeed Brother Ray, and word too. It’s a grass is greener thing though you know? Half the Ayurveda Places are disinterested, quickly trained, under-paid serfs who have no feel for their work. And why should they? Even some of the most expensive places. And like that over on your side too, eh?
Fascinating indeed. I’m writing again with cotton stuffed ears. I just realized that dogs whine so much because they probably have splitting head-aches from the auditory overload…
      Krazy Daisey…

…joy, happiness, fireworks and sweets, Diwali started, and will end mid-Nov. Like a cycle, duality, a beginning and an end. Nuclear, started. When end, what’s in store? Soc-eng, like the mushroom cloud, full-blown…when will it subside, what will it cycle us into?
It feels like we ‘need'(re-ally?) something big (a peak), so they can then subside?

And just like in your Voice-triple-O-seven 🙂 small-small-big-BIG, then serene. Ayurvedic massage (Ray would like that).

    Thanks for sharing.
