Shattering Midas’s Curse…Gold: De-spell-eD

January 19, 2012

Greetings,

Today, I finally understood, from my perspective, why I’ve felt this sure-ness of the collapse of Gold as a metal of value, in any of it’s forms that it is seen today. My in-sight, which seems un-deniable at face value and deep dissection, speaks equally to Gold Lovers and Gold Haters, Central Bankers and people in general.

Gold and Silver are most commonly, obviously, easily and always linked to the Sun and the Moon. In fact, the fact that these two metals represent these two planetary arche-types seems to be more than just a little co-incidental, don’t you feel?

Peoples who are touch with gaia’s grid, and there are those people, One such people’s story is linked through a Video somewhere in the archives; say that Gold extraction at it’s current, poisonous pace is weakening the grid, gold holds enormous importance, obvious in the richness of big veins and their role in their particular geology. Gold is a holder of standing potential.

Sol

And Silver, it’s everywhere. A massive secondary extraction from primary mining for a host of other metals. And then the moon rises, it’s Golden too:

Luna

One could go on…

But just look at the difference between these two energies. Awesome and obvious, ne?

From an earlier post:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The bright yang, male on the other hand was inert. All potential.

When we were still creatures of our bodies, the dormant male responded to the vibration of the active yin, gaining “standing” potential, which was then vibrated in the darkness, producing Cold, milky light to meet with Fire-y darkness and enable creation.

Thus the male was noble.

Noble. The word’s oldest definition is inert. A startling parallel, gold, sun, fire. Gold is the prime noble metal. Inert, will not interact with any other metal.

This is the nobility of the masculine that is dead. Far from inert, the modern day man, totally a creature of the mind, is a reactive puppet.

Rest HERE

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

It’s quite Simple:

Man is meant to become as Pure as Gold, not possess it.

The inner Alchemy was always the ultimate goal of gnostics and seekers.

We are meant to be as pure and as un-sulliable as Gold.

It is not meant to be traded in Any form.

Worshipped perhaps, as it has been for millenia, with stunning results…..

Mahavishnu and Trinity

There is no point attaching anything to Gold. Not want, not desire, not cleaving…. gold is Noble, pure, un-sulliable.

In a word, Gold does not “care”. It is like the Sun, it just sits there and Shines. Please ponder this carefully. The Sun will Blind you just as easily (in seconds) as it will show you the way.

Meanwhile, we are living the nightmare of midas’s curse. Possessiveness of Gold. Such a Fool’s Errand as I can see now.

And look at Silver. Mixes with anything and everything. Just like it is most commonly found, mixed in. So many industrial, theraputic uses.

Plus, all growth happens in Darkness.

Also, Silver can be many things, just like the moon has many phases.

Silver, the Feminine, Gold the masculine.

Men, we are meant to BE Gold.

Women, you are meant to BE Silver.

So Gold is for worship and emulation, while Silver, the dynamic Feminine, but still just a pale (thank Goddess) reflection of the Sun, Always, flows around and mixes, is cause-ative, active.

Hold Gold and Silver in the inverse of their AS Above So Below (Solar/Lunar light) ratios….I thought this was funny and all the hint you really need by the way…

“Since the Moon shines by reflecting sunlight (not very well—it reflects only about 7% of the light that strikes it, comparable to a lump of coal”….

Of course Gold is Primary. As the Sun is. It is the Risen for the Sea-sun.

Very un-comfortable stances given the current, dysfunctional social order.

If there were ever two archetypes that can help sublimate to nothing-ness this crisis of the sexes currently con-suming us like fire…

Male, Gold, Transmitting, Pater, Pattern, Bright

Female, Silver, Receiving, transmuting, Mater, Matter

Pattern+Matter = Creation

The madness, mania for owning gold is a crown of thorns on the heads of the current rulers (literally, rulers, monarchs) of the world. They even manage the world through A CROWN Corporation.

A CROWN of thorns corporation that has, between Gold and Oil, driven the world to the brink. And by extracting black and pure gold at this huge industrial pace, they have weakened the grid.

Gold-en Gold and Black-Gold.

It is time to change perceptions.

Both positions, masculine and feminine, are extremely power-full and em-powering.

In real terms, Silver is true monie, plain and simple. Literally, plain and simple.

Oh and of course, only the Moon, so perfectly sized and placed, can completely OCCULT the Sun.

MORE

these are not co-incidences…

Let us be who we were meant to be first, fully, before we take on roles.

Gold, in very small quantities, to remind you of purity.

Silver only in as much quantity as you can hoist. And run with. 😉

Really.

Now I see the picture around re-finement much more clearly.

Be Gold.

AuM…. co-incidence?

Feeling much lighter. Brighter. 🙂

Shine on, or reflect brilliantly, as the case may be.

Gorgeous, round, pock-marked, waxing, waning, moody moon!

In-vest wisely. And practice detachment..

AuM….

In T+Ruth…

Vivek

    Vivek,
Was down to absolutely zero money in my account last week.
All I could do was breathe.
    Now we have food again.
    Again I breathe.

My insight today was I am not meant to have money – I am meant to
    give it away.

We are not kind because we have expectation of reward – we are kind because
kindness energizes us. We have been taught to be selfish and yet if we all allowed
ourselves this nourishment of service in the moment – well how beautiful would that be.

    • January 19, 2012 5:12 pm

Awesome Hannasus and yes indeed, it would. I skated the money edge for a long time to realize that lack was an amazing teacher.
Thanks… 🙂 The more you give the more you create space, the more you get.

Man was meant to be as noble as gold. Brave idea.
Why “man” at all? Is there a “someone” who tinkers….gold to dust to gold again?
Creator level meditation? I am alpha and omega…..i make a pot, put a potion in it, give it a stir….self-knowlege and amusement in one fell swoop.

Is it truthful to say “the truth is out there” or “within”? Is it golden? Silence is golden; or so i hear 🙂

    • January 19, 2012 6:03 pm

      Seems right though, yes dwm?
And in the world being “As without, so within, as above, so below”, in/out/here/there….distractions, eh?

And interesting, the most common sound preceding silence is : Shhhhhhhhhh…. Fire meeting water. 😉

        Hello Aquarius.

  3. January 19, 2012 6:20 pm

Really love the way you express your thoughts…beautiful wordplay and imagery. I am a goldsmith so your post today was especially interesting to me. Am I a possessor or possessee? Provocative musings.

    • January 19, 2012 7:11 pm

Thanks Helene, your work is beautiful, graceful. It speaks of an intimacy with the metals…very symbolic, isn’t it all?

As for the possessor/possessee, I’m sure your question was rhetorical… hopefully a relationship that waxes and wanes…always better that way.

      • January 19, 2012 10:41 pm

It was, indeed, rhetorical. Thanks for taking the time to answer and look at my work. As I insist on handmade and one of a kind, I am increasingly becoming a rarity in our mass-produced world…perhaps even a casuality. But this is my passion and I love the alchemy and mystery of metals… yes, very symbolic.

Waxing and waning. The silvery moon.

Is the smithy possessed by the thing being worked or by the working of it?

Helene….can you make a gold piece without satisfaction? If satisfied, is that right or wrong?

Where is the line between hubris/pride and “doing/being the right thing”? Does it matter?

    • January 19, 2012 10:41 pm

dwm, I suppose I am merely a vehicle using raw materials to achieve a physical expression of my perceived environment. I wax and I wane, moon child that I am…

Lunatic here, seeking forgiveness for past and future bad vibes (thank you Helene for being so kind).

The path to becoming gold? The alchemists. Obession! ACD! that darn ego.
Craftmanship and pride in one’s work definately aim for gold.
Folding and refolding a stack of towels to achieve perfection is lunacy.

Being a green sheep brown dog, fire and water are not as important as forest…where silence can be deafening. Not sshhh so much as ccrracckkk 🙂

So Ori, it seems neither here nor there. If a one and the universe commune, that is lovely for that one (and universe).

Maybe universe wants me to be zinc? 🙂 (such a scamp)

    • January 21, 2012 5:08 am

Zinc? hmmmmm…. Z Inc……hmmmmmm…..not sure about that dwm.

But ACD? Boy, I’ll tell you what, when said correctly, it can and will blow off yer top.
      I mean it! 🙂

Both gold and platinum have been used in studies since the 70s in in treating cancers. Medical centers in Maryland have used it. Nano gold around a cancer sight can kill it, so gold is not known as the king of minerals for nothing. It also effects the pineal gland by strengthening it and conducting electromagnetic energy and silver is known for this as well. Gold does not kill every known virus and bacteria however as does silver. The process is the same for monotomic gold which also is very expensive.

Of course most of us are not going to be able to be helped by such expensive procedures but those with money can. They still however in some case insist on using it in conjunction with chemotherapy.

Of course mining gold from ground I agree with you does tinker with the harmonic balance of the earth. People wearing gold jewelry however and silver for that matter do collect particle through the skin and it is beneficial to them. It is the same drinking from a silver cup, you absorb some silver particle. Standing around admiring how beautiful your silver and gold objects are however is virtually useless in my opinion.

In Switzerland they are now using silver in bandages to heal people with severe burns. They heal much faster when exposed to silver. There again this is going to be somewhat expensive and most likely you and I will not be able to afford it if needed. Gold and silver is much to valuable to be used on us commoners.

I have my own solution, a bronze cup with a silver slab on the bottom that contains some small gold nugget. (red wine is very good at leaching out the minerals!) There is very little I drink that does not come into contact with silver or gold first and as we know bronze also contains copper and zinc. The mug was stolen off ebay some years ago for $20.00 and I view it as priceless. It was made in China also.

We use gold, copper and silver to transfer electricity in computers should we do the same for our brains? My theory is it doesn’t matter how much minerals are standing around to admire, how much of them are inside us? What does the monetary value really matter?

There is a reason why both India and China used these minerals to drink from since time immemorial almost. The monks in the Potala use bronze frying pans which probably have a little gold and silver thrown in the melting process. They don’t do it just for show or monetary value.

    • January 21, 2012 5:11 am

All very very good points Dub. My aim in the post was much more philosophical and big picture.
Arche-typically speaking, what do these two metals and everything that goes with them, mean in this day and age?

What do our relationships with them tell of of the relationship between our won masculine and feminine selves?

  9. January 21, 2012 4:59 am

Vivek, you are just plain brilliant.

Here is an interesting site, (soon to be a book) that very much touches on some of the themes you write about in this post and others ORI.

It’s long, but I think you and many of your readers would enjoy it.

It’s called “Turn out the lights” by Michael Clark

Guess i need to get alloyed 🙂

We are electrical beings in the electric universe, afterall. Watching a person undergoing acupuncture while his head is in an MRI is interesting. Chi recorded by an electronic device.

If only human perfection could be achieved by sticking pins in people 🙂

I know Vivek I understand what you were saying, just pointing out another aspect. dwn it wouldn’t hurt. In fact the Chinese used to make anyway when gold was cheaper sets of zinc tableware with a layer of silver over them and then gold on top of that. The gold flakes off in their food and you are bound to get some of it.

There are some good treatises out there concerning copper. It is my understanding also that proper blood protein simply cannot be formed if one is copper deficient. Many things in the diet today deplete copper. We have GMO, MSG, teflon, asparatme, fluoride, chlorine, aluminum etc etc etc. Silver is 15% copper. (alloy up!) I like this term!

The ancients seem to recommend it.

Come to the center of the earth, and there you shall find the Philosopher’s Stone – Basilius Valentinus (Fifteenth Century Alchemist)

    • January 22, 2012 8:22 am

      Excellent Dub.

Looking back over this, my comments might need context…a little too silvery maybe. My thoughts are actually too long to put down, but those 2 sprang from entering the age of Aquarius and feminine energy and moon being esp. the inner and the hope, the possibility that we may be able to retain some control over which way these dice fall. Clear as mud, yes? (sorry) Data, insights and so forth pouring in a huge stream. Can only give hints like skipping a rock across a lake. (not purposefully obtuse/obfuscating ( so prob. should just be quiet but don’t see THAT happening :-))
I’m a little desperate for some semblance of control given the Mars retrograde and my fiery tendencies on a GOOD day.
Interesting as well is the letter M (aum). The sign for water hieroglyphically.

    Dear all,
late coming to this discussion, no access, and here also rushy…

There was something I read that an alien specis came here perhaps million years ago to lure gold (no mention of silver) because their own sun was failing…they kept at it for a long while and also bred a mixed race here on Earth.

And then they found an alternative and departed…But succeeded by the race they bred.
Peace on Earth has been disrupted and master and slaves become the new normal…until today. And they are still waiting for the supreme specis to return…

My take on this: Earth is unique. Thats why we are visited (and occupied) by alien specis.
And with helps of some of us no-man, the planet is ill, if not dying.

Other supreme beings are waging what we call apoca…. now.

    Not good.

    Be well.

    Thanks for sharing.

Gold is one currency which will outlast human civilization

    • February 3, 2012 7:11 am

Gold never was and never will be currency Linda. By that very name itself, all the confusion around Gold’s role is thrown up, ne? Is it a store of value? Is it to be used for barter/exchange?

but then again, my take on it, especially in this post, is really the deeper significance of Gold and Silver in our lives.
      Thanks for sharing.

One of the few subjects I ever nitpick with you about. Gold is the king of minerals. Gold has the most value inside the pineal gland. From this standpoint it is priceless! Silver and copper are also of value here. How much value do you place on cosmic consciousness and connection to the infinite? Gold is the nectar of the Gods, the soma. The king of minerals can help anyone “go inside”. Silver is best for females however.

As for the value in establishing a monetary system? Somebody places extreme value on it however.

    http://www.humanresonance.org/water.html

Nano gold and silver the soma of the Gods which produces the crystal skull! It is also apparently necessary for the vimana, or flying saucer of the ancient vedics.
