India, America…. LISTEN UP! Or Die…

October 8, 2019

with your ears plugged up.

Greetings,

The video you might watch below is from January 2011. Almost 9 solid years ago. And yet, Chris Hedges could be delivering this speech today, there in America or right here in India and he would be, pardon the pun, right on the money.

Or in this case, as you will see, left on the money.

To my brother and sister Indians, I ask this simple question…. especially the oh-so-lost Non Resident Indian diaspora, the NRI….. if things are actually this bad in the US, supposedly the most advanced nation on this earth, HOW bad do you think things actually are in India?

And where does any staggering realizations you might have if you do have the courage and mental fortitude to listen this through, bring you to in terms of placing the current thieving, ghoulish, murderous regime in place in India right now?

I can say, with some justification, that I have, in my own way/words, saying the same things since 2010, when my own awakening began via this blog.

The fact that no one, not one reader bothers to ever engage in a dialouge here anymore is such a tell. More and more people are more comfortable retreating into their shells of fear and illusion.

I wish you courage my friends…..

Sorry for not engaging, Vivek. I still notice your posts and ponder your offerings, but I never have anything profound or clever to offer in response.

“[More] comfortable retreating into their shells of fear and illusion”? Fear, yes. And, that’s not comfortable at all. Illusion, no. Unfortunately, once you see that the emperor is naked, you can never un-see it. I suppose there are ways to temporarily forget, but I’ve never been very successful at it.

If I’ve retreated, and perhaps I have, it’s been in search of what’s real, and I’ve only felt faint tremors of that when I’ve been quiet and alone and ignoring the swirl of materialised human insanity all around me. Try as I might, I’ve never been much of a team player in the visible/physical planes, and typing in a comment to a blog post, although intended to convey encouragement and solidarity, always feels forced.

Thank you for keeping the fires lit.

🙂 It’s all good Anna, to each their own, in their own space/place and time. I understand where you are coming from… I’ve retreated too, but not into a shell but into myself, much deeper than ever before and let me tell ya, it’s a fascinating place …. big hugs…. bon courage….

Hey Vivek! These certainly are interesting and unfortunate times.
Today, parts of California are facing an outage that could be as many as 5 days, starting after midnight. They say that it is to prevent wildfires. I’m very skeptical. It seems like they are getting us used to the notion of blackouts/brownouts.

Strange daze are upon us Brother Daveed. I hope you make it through the brownout and whatever else it implies okay….. dig deep…. frauds abound. Even bro gregory is proving to be a strange bird…. sad but true…

How are doing amidst the firey madness in Kalifornia Brother? All well?

Hey Vivek – view all your posts and I agree with the previous poster, you raise issues that I don’t have good enough answers too…Don’t be dejected about the lack of response, we can only do what we can in our circumstances and its not lack of interest or concern, but to the contrary..keep it up I really enjoy your deep thinking!

Thanks Raj, glad my writing/thoughts resonate. And any desire of mine for commentary is just to hear that people are getting resonated, thinking…. are even triggered. 🙂 Good luck brother, interesting times we are in the midst of….

Warm greetings from “not so warm” Canada. I have been following loosely your blog and every time I come back, I do so with the pleasure of meeting a good friend not seen for a long time.
I think it was someone on ZH who posted a link to your site. I seldom follow such links except when the poster himself sounds so interesting, it renders far more credibility to whatever he/she may suggests. That said, nice to meet you fellow traveler. Keep sharing your musings Vivek. They very much resonate with me!

Hi Genevo, always good to hear from long time anonymous readers. And good to hear about the resonance. We are of one tribe, separated by mere distance, eh? Stay strong brother, the weirdness factor is going to 11, globally…. in short order it would seem …..

Hello Vivek……it has been awhile since I have visited your always intriguing website ….it does seem as if we do live in an open air insane asylum, and some of us are just crazier than the rest of us….onelove

Hi Vivek, I know what you speak of and here in Canada the fires of illusion and distraction burn strongly too. Massive changes are upon us though and we are all called upon to do something to turn the tide, raise awareness, and help create a better world.
Despair won’t do us any good. There is much to be done.
So many lies are rampant but now is the time of truth revealed.
We may actually be heading into slight global cooling and geoengineering has us at the brink of ecological collapse…interesting and epic times to be alive.
    Stay strong

Indeed. We DO live in interesting times, eh? And this is a great time to be alive, because when the system, all systems are off balance, small forces can move big things. We’re crossing the Ruby Con 🙂 Slipper-y slopes and all…
